Lyndsay Skeegan Designs combines traditional elegant style with a contemporary edge. The line is composed of glass and freshwater pearl necklaces and bracelets, hand knotted on silk thread, along with statement cocktail rings. The jewelry is embellished with vintage box clasps and velvet or lace bows. The line is inspired both by the refined, sophisticated elegance of Irving Penn’s black and white photographs from the 1940s and 1950s as well as by pieces Lyndsay found in her grandmother’s jewelry box. Each lush piece is individually handmade in Manhattan and provides a subtle combination of classic and contemporary.
